Implementing Synthetic Phonics- 6th September 2022

This workshop aims to provide teachers with:

*Where to begin: Steps on how to implement synthetic phonics into Foundation, year 1 and year 2 classrooms;

*What does an effective lesson look like in Foundation year;

*What does an effective lesson look like in year 1 and 2;

*Transfer Synthetic Phonics to reading and writing;

*Assessment: How do we assess Synthetic Phonics;

Activities: Hands-on, multisensory activities for teachers to implement immediately into their classrooms.

This workshop is designed for all commercial synthetic phonics programs and the NSW Scope and Sequence.

Date: Tuesday 6th September 2022

Venue: Bathurst RSL

Time: 4-7pm
